BJH Student Scorches the Track

Molly Pomeroy, a grade 9 student at BJH, won both her distances in the 300 meter run in 43:28 (new meet record) and the 200 meter in 27:38 (.07 off meet record) in the Provincial Junior High Track and Field meet at Pearlgate track in Mt. Pearl on Saturday. She travels to Nova Scotia June 23rd to attend the Canada games trials. She already met the standards to compete in the Legion Nationals in August in Manitoba and will be on the NL team for the 200m and 300m.
